What it does today

Everything a hospital runs, in one place

Every item below is built and in use on our demo hospitals. A hospital switches on only what it needs.

Front desk & patient flow

  • Registration with duplicate check, photo and a 6-digit Medical Record ID
  • Patients register on their phone by QR before they arrive
  • Appointments in time slots per doctor, doctor leave and hospital holidays
  • OPD flow board: who is at which room, from pre-check to pharmacy
  • Waiting-room TV that calls tokens aloud (English or Hindi) — token numbers only, never names

Doctor & clinical records

  • Consultation with specialty templates, vitals pre-check by the nurse or desk
  • Prescriptions from a medicine list, diagnoses with ICD-10 codes
  • Records signed by the treating doctor and shared to ABHA as FHIR R4
  • In-patients: wards and beds, nursing observations, discharge summary shared to ABDM

Billing, insurance & pharmacy

  • Bills per legal entity with their own numbers; UPI QR on every bill
  • Concession schemes and a concession register; quotations that turn into bills
  • Insurance / TPA desk: pre-authorisation, queries, claim and settlement
  • Pharmacy counter by the strip or the tablet, earliest expiry first, barcode scan, stock-take, parcels

Stores, labels & office

  • Purchases: suppliers, bills, payments, AMC and contracts, petty cash
  • Labels: file stickers, wristbands, medicine stickers, address labels (Code 128)
  • Hospital documents with renewal reminders and a statutory compliance checklist
  • Equipment service plans, key holder, courier register, phone desk

Reports, staff & quality

  • Registers for any dates — OPD, billing, collections, in-patients, appointments — to Excel
  • Staff attendance grid, salaries, advances and the bank sheet
  • Patient feedback by QR with call-backs for unhappy patients
  • Research registry: disease-wise cohorts, de-identified

ABDM

ABDM-ready, not just ABDM-branded

The ABDM workflows are part of the daily screens, not a separate module: the desk verifies ABHA, the doctor signs, the record goes to the patient’s ABHA.

We are completing NHA sandbox certification. We will say “certified” only once the NHA has certified it.

  • ABHA creation and verification at the desk (Aadhaar or mobile OTP), and Scan & Share
  • Records linked to the patient's ABHA as care contexts
  • Consented requests for a patient's records from other hospitals (HIU)
  • FHIR R4 bundles checked against the official NRCeS profiles
